If your pictures of food and flowers aren't getting the 'likes' you want on Instagram, here's an easy solution: add your face.
A new report from Georgia Tech suggests that pictures with faces get about 38-percent more likes, and 32-percent more comments, than those without. The university analyzed 1.1 million random Instagram photos to find their results. Surprisingly enough, male users were just as likely to get their pictures liked as female users. But when it came to people who posted selfies more frequently than other users, their rate of likes and comments went down—in other words, they posted too much of a good thing.
