Microsoft is getting a little more clever with its marketing strategy, and in this case, we're cool with it.
The company just released a new commercial for Internet Explorer, which takes viewers back to the time when the browser reigned supreme: the 90s. Everything from pogs, Tamagotchi's, and bowl cuts—which this writer was a victim of (yes, a victim)—all get a moment of spotlight in the ad.
Nicely done, Microsoft. I almost want to rev up IE for old time sake. Now invent a time machine to take me back to the 90s, and then we can talk.
