Jack Dorsey's Douchiest Moments

As the story typically goes, Dorsey was forced to leave Twitter as its Chief Executive Officer and take a powerless "silent chairman" role instead. However, during any interview he gives regarding the company, Dorsey never mentions anything of original partner Noah Glass. Glass, who created the name Twitter, was eventually pushed out by Dorsey because ge thought Glass' divorce clouded his judgement. As DT Max wrote in a recent The New Yorker profile of Dorsey: "Eventually, the decision was made to fire Glass. [Nick] Bilton reports that Dorsey threatened to quit unless Glass was forced out. Dorsey says otherwise: 'I didn't give an ultimatum ... I didn't have that leverage. Ev made his decision.' As Dorsey recalls it, 'Ev asked me, Should we let Noah go? And I said, I don't think I can work with him in his current state."

According to Twitter legend, Dorsey was a douche of a CEO. During Twitter's rise to the top, the startup had a potential acquisition meeting with Yahoo!, and Dorsey was blamed for giving a terrible half-hearted explanation of his vision for Twitter. Yahoo! responded with a low offer and the threat of building a better competitor. An unnamed source claims that Dorsey also regularly left the office early to attend "Yoga classes, fashion classes and drawing classes."

According to a recent New York Times article, Dorsey's role at Twitter was reduced after employees complained that he was difficult to work with and repeatedly changed his mind about product directions. He no longer has anyone directly reporting to him, although he is still involved in strategic decisions. What could he have possibly done to piss off so many employees?

Apparently, a fresh-faced Dorsey also engaged in online poetry blogging that would eventually come back to bite him. As we all know, Dorsey was essentially removed from his own company a few years ago for being difficult to work with. The poetry that he wrote, may have, in a way, been a prelude to what transpired. In an article by Business Insider, a former employee of Dorsey's second company, Square, lashed out at Dorsey because he disagreed with the work ethic Dorsey feels all his employees should embody. The employee states that since Dorsey works two jobs, both at Square and Twitter, he has little life outside of the office. The downside is that he expects the same from his workers.

In many interviews Dorsey gives about Twitter, he almost always lies about the inception of the idea. It is widely known that Dorsey came up with the idea while hanging out with friend, and later enemy, Noah Glass. And yet he tells people that he came up with the idea when he was a kid because he loved emergency transmissions and police scanners.

The house that Dorsey apparently bought in 2012 was originally listed for $18 million, then reduced to $9.9 million. Even with the 50 percent reduction, this house is still the most expensive home in Sea Cliff, San Francisco. We get that you're a tech-billionaire and you can pretty much buy anything you want, but do you really need a retracable roof?

Selfies are douchy as it is. Taking selfie video and constantly posting them on Vine, however, is a whole new level of narcissism. Dorsey is known for posting Vine's with him just standing there, staring into the camera, looking like, well, a douche.
