The Talkhouse is not your standard addition to the music blogosophere. Thankfully, it's offering a fresh perspective on music by fellow artists from all genres and generations. Examples so far include Matthew Dear on Dinosaur Jr., Vijay Iyer (famous jazz pianist) on Flying Lotus, Laurie Anderson on Animal Collective, Ashok Kondabolu (Dapwell formerly of Das Racist) on Wiz Khalifa, and Duff McKagan (of Guns N' Roses) on KISS.
They're promoting dialogue between musicians who may never have interacted otherwise, and it looks like they've gotten a great start. We're looking forward to what's next.
