While promoting his new film, Pirahna 3DD in a new interview with MovielineDavid Hasselhoff mentioned that the role of his character's son in Baywatch almost went to Leonardo DiCaprio instead of Jeremy Jackson. Yeah, think about that for a moment. We're pretty sure that reality would have been somewhat akin to alternate 1985.

"You know what, it was the best thing to happen to Leonardo DiCaprio," he commented. "I saw Leonardo DiCaprio and I said, ‘You know what, that was the best thing that ever happened to you! You would have never gotten Titanic and have been this big star. You’d be like Jeremy Jackson and David Hasselhoff, looking for work.’ Ha!"

Excuse you David Hasselhoff, because according to IMDb, Jackson is currently filming a movie called Dreams in which he stars as a guy named DJ Smoove. Some guy who was "Mopping Inmate #1" in Law Abiding Citizen is also starring. Don't knock the hustle.

Leonardo DiCaprio's next film, Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, will be released on Christmas Day.
