Just hours after Warner Brothers completely left us underwhelmed by the latest poster for The Dark Knight Rises, the studio stepped up its game by revealing some absolutely fierce looking character posters for Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy), and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) from the upcoming movie.
These stylized beauties convey the scope, tone, and atmosphere that we were hoping to see from this marketing campaign from the beginning. They might not be as bright and cheery as the images from other superhero flicks, but that is exactly what Christopher Nolan has consciously brought to this franchise since 2005. Expect to see these posters lining movie theaters, bus stops, and subway stations for the foreseeable future.
The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters on July 20.
