Rising Harlem rapper Sheck Wes, who recently signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music and Travis Scott's Cactus Jack label imprints, premiered a new single on Beats 1 today. "Do That" was inspired by the rituals he's witnessed of "traditional wrestlers," and it comes from his upcoming project MUDBOY.

"I kind of want MUDBOY to just be only Sheck Wes and MUDBOY is going to talk about how I became a MUDBOY," he told Zane Lowe. "A MUDBOY is just somebody who came from nothing, you know, who turned nothing into something. You know, when I was in Africa, in the rain, I walk around in, like, mud, you know, the sand would turn to mud and you are not getting out of that."

Naturally, Lowe had to sneak in a question about recent Kanye West sightings in Wyoming. "I was supposed to go to Wyoming," Wes said. "It's crazy, I was talking to Trav about it yesterday. I just came from London a little bit too late, because I had a lot of stuff to do out there. I don't know, I might still try to go out there." Wes also discussed how West qualifies as a "weird basketball player." Catch part of the interview here.

In February, Sheck Wes dropped the Tyler Ross-directed video for "Mo Bamba." Listen to the new song and watch Sheck on Trending Topics below. MUDBOY is due this spring.
