Musically speaking, it's been an uncharacteristically quiet year for Jaden Smith. Granted, the teenage artist is still winning in other ways (see: his starring role in Neo Yokio, his appearance at the Met Gala, and being named one of Time's most influential teens). But until last week, "Watch Me" and the video for "Batman" were Jaden's main contributions to music in 2017.
That all changed with the announcement of SYRE, a new album set to drop November 17. Jaden's performance at ComplexCon provided us with an early listen of the new music, and it sounds excellent. He also brought out Raury to perform an unreleased collaboration.
Watch clips of Jaden's performance below, then watch New Yorkers react to Jaden Smith's music and tweets in our recent Angel In The Streets video. Catch up on more ComplexCon highlights here.
