It's a big day for Atlanta duo EarthGang.

Hours after announcing that they signed to J. Cole's label Dreamville Records, they've shared a five song EP called Rags.

Stopping by our office this afternoon a few minutes after the Dreamville announcement, they explained that Rags is the first step in a plan to release three EPs before dropping an album: "It's a part of this three-part EP series. Rags, Robots, and Royalty. All these things are the train stops to Mirrorland, which is our album coming out whenever the fuck we put it out."

Setting the stage for the Rags EP, they say, "It represents being from the bottom. Shout out to everybody who came from the bottom and came from the lowest. At the bottom, there's nothing but pure potential. Zero is pure potential."

Featuring appearances from Mick Jenkins, Childish Major, and their new label-mate J.I.D, the EP is available on Apple Music here and below. We will update this page with a Spotify stream when it becomes available at 12:00 a.m. EST.

Continue for more on another talented young Dreamville signee, J.I.D, who dropped one of our favorite albums of the year so far.
