The EarthGang duo—which consists of Doctur Dot and Johnny Venus—has collaborated with Dreamville co-founder J. Cole in the past, including on Spillage Village's Bears Like This Too Much cut "Can't Call It." An excerpted version of "Can't Call It" first appeared on DJ Khaled's Major Key as "Jermaine's Interlude."

"[Cole] overthinks on weed but we were in the garage smoking a blunt, the beat was running in the background," Doctur Dot toldGenius last year of the recording session that ultimately resulted in the lengthy posse cut. "We stacked the hook up, we all had verses on it, it was a posse record and was like, nine verses long."

Next up for EarthGang is their new Rags EP, set for release Sept. 1:

EarthGang will then join Cole, Jay Z, Migos, Solange, London on da Track, Cardi B, Run the Jewels, 21 Savage, Pusha T, Vic Mensa, and more at this weekend's Made in America Festival in Philadelphia.

The current Dreamville roster also includes J.I.D., Lute, Omen, Cozz, Bas, and Ari Lennox.
