President Obama solidified his appreciation for hip-hop long ago, and that respect reportedly resurfaced earlier today. The commander-in-chief called for a meeting of the minds that brought the likes of Chance the Rapper, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Common, and Pusha T—a newly anointed president himself—to the White House.

The gathering, comprised of new stars and industry vets, aimed to spark discourse about prolonging the life of My Brother’s Keeper. The initiative, which turned two years old this year, allocates resources toward promoting racial justice and aiding disadvantaged people of color with the proactive help of community leaders.

Below are a handful of tweets from those who attended. The guest-list also included Alicia Keys, Wale, DJ Khaled, Ludcaris, Janelle Monae, Rick Ross, and Busta Rhymes. Quite the meeting.

We will update this article as more information becomes available.
