New music from Drake is beginning to surface.

UPDATE: The leaked track titled “These Days” was actually part of Drake’s contribution to singer Babeo Baggins’ “Things I Forgot To Do,” which is a cover of Nico’s “These Days.” I think we’ll stick to the original.

In the past few months, Drake has continued to drop hints that his forthcoming album Views From The 6 will be dropping in April. However, he has yet to announce a specific date. With April right around the corner, it seems like new music can drop at just about any given moment. Today we get the first preview of that.

A new collaboration between Drake and Popcaan called “Controlla” has found its way onto the internet today. The new joint effort carries on with the dancehall-influenced bassline that we previously heard on Rihanna and Drake’s hit collaboration “Work.” There’s no word if “Controlla” will be on Views From The 6, but it’s a great preview of what we can expect.

Listen to “Controlla” here. Another track titled “These Days” has also surfaced, listen to that here.
