UPDATE 12/9/15, 11:00AM: Iggy Azalea responded to Erykah Badu with a short note that she posted on Twitter. Azalea states that she appreciates the apology and in return extended an invite for Badu’s daughters to attend a show in the future.

Erykah Badu is very much back! She released an awesome mixtape titled But You Caint Use My Phone (which even features Andre 3000!) over the Thanksgiving break and gave an amazing interview on Power 105 which Jay Electronica just happened to pop up out of nowhere and interrupt.
Tonight, Erykah Badu hosted The Soul Train Awards which finished airing not long ago. During her opening monologue Badu explained she would stay true to Soul Train’s roots by banning all rap from the awards. Nothing, she told the audience, would be “on fleek.”
She then pretended to answer calls from rappers, including one from Iggy Azalea. That’s when this happened. Amazing.
