Sprite is no stranger to using rappers in their ad campaigns. The company got Pete Rock and Grand Puba to kick flows about their fizzy bev back in 1995, and turned Drake into a bionic man for “The Spark” ad spot. Now they’re going back to rap for their latest, the “Obey Your Verse” campaign.
This time, Sprite will have rap verses inscribed on the side. Drake is back on board, joining Nas, The Notorious B.I.G. and Rakim on cans across the country, with classic lyrics like “the world is yours” and “thinking of a master plan.” The Sprite cans will feature 16 lines from the four artists.
