Yung Miami has been rumored to be involved romantically with Diddy for a while, and now she’s addressed the question head-on in a new interview.
Earlier this year, the rumors flared up after the City Girls rapper shared a series of photos of herself in a red velvet gown on Instagram. The last pic in the post showed her holding hands with Diddy, and he shared the same photo, only to delete it. A couple months later, a video surfaced showing them cozied up together.
Speaking on WGCI’s Morning Show, Miami appeared to deny her involvement with the 52-year-old rapper and record executive.
When asked directly whether she was dating Diddy, she replied, “No.” Her fellow City Girl JT pointed out that Miami confirmed she was dating someone just before that, to which she laughed.
“We ain’t gonna answer that,” said JT with a laugh.
Miami was also asked if she would date a man who makes less money than her, and answered, “No, nothing changed.”
After the interview was shared online, Miami posted on her IG Stories. “Stay out my business,” she wrote, indicating that her love life will remain private, at least for now.
As recently as October, Miami posted and t deleted a photo of her on the beach with a man believed to be Diddy. The 27-year-old rapper has remained tight-lipped on whether her and Diddy are an item, but she did suggestively name drop him in her track “Rap Freaks.”
“Took a jet to a private island on a date with Diddy/I like bad boys, no ho shit," she raps on the song. "Diddy, let me put it in your face like them roaches/And put your rich ass to sleep, buenas noches."
