Smiley is off to space. In the video for his latest song “6ixer,” the OVO Sound rapper gets abducted by aliens who give him a drink and offer him the opportunity to rap for them.
The track is as boastful as usual for Smiley who compares himself to James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers and brags about sleeping with someone’s girl.
“I might fuck his bitch but I don’t kiss her, that’s an old ting I don’t miss her,” he raps. “Like I play with Harden I’m a Sixer.”
The track is a collaboration between Smiley and lifestyle brand Astropink which started out as a cannabis certification company.
“Mr B.O.B I had to get back in my bag with this one im from 61st pelham park, and that’s the 6ixers,” Smiley added in an email.
The OVO Sound artist has been busy of late after a quiet 2022. The rapper just recently released another video for “Eternals” which saw him comparing himself to Vegeta of Dragon Ball and Draymond Green while hanging around the Orange Julep in Montreal.
Before that, Smiley dropped the video for “Nicky Nine Door” which featured a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Drake cameo.
