It’s been a minute or two since B:Thorough put anything out via his own label, Textured Recordings, but now he’s back with Swiss producer Shayu to break that quiet spell with a new two-track release, “Jetstream” / “R4”.

Tapping into that melody-driven take on grime, the two new tracks balance a futurist metallic thump with airy, atmospheric touches. In fact, R4 even contains some field recordings Shayu gathered on an actual Swiss mountainside.

Ahead of the official release, you can listen to the tougher, more club-ready “Jetstream” exclusively below. The beefier track of the two, “Jetstream” sets Shayu’s ice-capped melodies against B:Thorough’s shuddering bass patterns and crisp drums. Then, after a breakdown at the mid-section, the second act kicks in with some scratchy synths and those all-important square waves.

Pre-orders are up and running on B:Thorough’s Bandcamp and, if you cop the vinyl version, it comes with an exclusive Devil mix. Ahead of the March 29 release date, tap into “Jetstream” below.
