UPDATED 5:42 p.m. ET: In an interview with DJ Dior Cartel on Thursday Mama Jones provided further explanation into her son’s comments on Angela Yee’s now viral Lip Service interview.
“I am not a nasty mother. All I am is a mother that was teaching my son exactly how to survive and how to actually be able to deal with a woman,” she said in her defense.
There was no mouth to mouth rescecutation, according to Mama Jones. Though she says there were tongues involved.
"And, for their information, it wasn’t no tonguing down. It was a way of showing you how to tongue. He licked out his tongue, I licked out my tongue, that was that."
UPDATED 5:12 p.m. ET: Jim Jones has shared a video saying the comments he made about his mom teaching him how to tongue kiss were a joke.
“For the record, I love my mama more than anything in the world. And for the record, it was a joke,” he said. “You people take things way too far… That’s weak what y’all trying to project.”
Jim added in the caption: “Knock it off enjoy th[e] laugh stop takin life so serious. Th[e] media loves to take something so simple and tune into a head line smh lol.”

In a lengthy conversation with Angela Yee, Dipset rapper Jim Jones said he learned how to kiss with his tongue via his mother’s teachings.
At around the 31-minute mark of the latest episode of Yee’s Lip Service podcast, Jones said his mother was very open when it came to discussing sex and relationships when he was growing up.
“I learned my sex education from my mother. She told me everything about sex,” the 45-year-old shared. “My first condoms, everything like that. My moms taught me how to kiss when I was younger.”
Yee paused for a moment to press for more, and Jones specified that she taught him how to “tongue kiss.”
“It wasn’t no instructions, she showed me with her mouth,” Jim said.
Yee appeared shocked. Jones continued, “It’s my mother. … She showed me how to tongue kiss when I was younger, my mom was 17…she was a baby. Look at all the babies that’s having babies now and look how they act with their babies, it’s like they have a little sister or brother more than they have a child.”
Asked if he was weirded out when he had his first kiss with a girl, he said it was stranger. “The first time I tongue kissed a girl, yeah,” he said. “My moms, it didn’t faze me. The first time I tongue kissed a girl, I was so pissed off. I didn’t know what the fuck was going on.”
Jones also gave his thoughts on Tristan Thompson’s recent admission that he fathered a child with a woman while in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian.
“He’s ill, I like Tristan’s attitude,” he said at the 23-minute mark with a smile when the topic came up, later suggesting Khloé will patch things up with the Sacramento Kings player. “She gonna take him back in a flash. She love it, she a glutton for it. She loves Black men, she loves everything Black men do. She loves it, she wants to be around it. I mean, that’s just my opinion.”
