Just in time for her festival appearances—including a keenly-anticipated Glastonbury booking—Greentea Peng is back with a refreshing summer jam and she’s connected with two powerhouse producers for the assist: MJ Cole and Swindle.
As is the singer-songwriter’s trademark, it’s another slice of escapism. However, this time, it’s a bit less about freeing yourself from reality and more about leaving behind the petty squabbles of daily life and the relentless everyday pressures that knock you from pillar to post.
Playing to both producers’ respective strengths, the instrumental is built on some breezy strings courtesy of Cole coupled with Swindle’s infamous knack for soul-stirring horns. For the visuals, Greentea Peng kept things just as light and airy: AboveGround handles the camera, opting for a home video style as he follows her on a wander through a seaside town with a light breeze carrying her forward while she takes in the sights—at her own pace, of course.
