DreamDoll and French Montana have followed up their collaborative single “Ice Cream Dream” with a music video to match the summertime vibe.
It opens with DreamDoll serving up cold treats from a custom ice cream truck for the boys in the neighborhood before she links with French, where things start to heat up.
“We tried to drop the video many times but for some reason we didn’t,” DreamDoll explained, adding the first half of the video was shot last year. “Fast forward to a couple months ago, I was in the studio listening to the song. I could just hear French on it. I hit him up that night, sent him the record and he literally sent his verse right back.”
She continued, “We shot the video a week later. I couldn’t be more pleased with what we were able to do together. What makes it really special is that it’s a progression of where I was to where I am now.”
DreamDoll is currently supporting Fivio Foreign on the Brooklyn rapper’s North American tour, which is scheduled to make stops in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in the coming weeks.
From there, DreamDoll will make her debut at Hot 97’s Summer Jam on June 12, where she will perform alongside a star-studded lineup that includes Pusha-T, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, City Girls, and more.
