In an Instagram comment replying to a fan who said his now-signature 'Certified Lover Boy'-era hair heart is “stressed,” Drake wanted to clear the air.

Drake has a big heart, but some fans think it’s been looking a little weird lately.

In an Instagram comment in reply to a fan who said his now-signature Certified Lover Boy-era hair heart is “stressed,” Drake didn’t want to leave room for hair speculation.

“I had Covid that shit grew in weird I had to start again 😂  it’s coming back don’t diss,” Drake wrote.

The photo is a few weeks old, HotNewHipHop reports, so it seems Drizzy’s hair—and hopefully his health—are back to where they should be.

The 6 God previously shared that he tested negative for COVID-19 back in March of last year, but this would be the first time he’s mentioned any COVID diagnosis.

If Drizzy did test positive for COVID, it’s unclear when that may have been or how that’s impacted his plans as he continues to prep Certified Lover Boy, the long-awaited album he’s been teasing for months. Back in January, Drake said it would still be coming in 2021, despite having to push it back after an injury left his leg in a brace.

“I was planning to release my album this month, but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drake wrote. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”

Late last month, Drizzy took to Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Fridays radio show to share that CLB is now done and coming soon. That’s news that’ll surely make anyone’s heart grow—even the one on Drizzy’s head.

“Album’s cooked,” Drake said, weeks after announcing the album was being mixed. “Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way.”
