After months of anticipation, Doe Boy has finally returned with his album Oh Really.

The new full-length from the Cleveland rapper includes features from Lil Uzi Vert, 42 DuggNardo Wick, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, Ty Dolla Sign, Babyface Ray, Lil Double O, Vory, Johnny Blaze, and Roddy Ricch. Doe Boy said in an interview with Revolt that it was especially hard to link with Ricch since the Live Life Fast MC is so particular about who he works with.

“He’s one of them n***as who is very selective with who he likes,” Doe said. “One day I saw he was following me, and I thought, ‘Damn, this n***a fuck with me for real? That’s hard.’ I tapped in with him. We talked like regular people.”

The Freebandz rapper added later in the interview that he stepped into Roddy’s world on “Real Recognize Real.”

“It was natural,” Doe Boy said of their creative chemistry. “The song we got is on one of those classical Roddy vibes. I stepped over into his lane.”

Oh Really serves as a follow-up to the two releases Doe Boy shared in 2020, Demons R Us with Southside and 56 Birdz with DJ Esco. According to the “Ain’t My Fault” artist, he hasn’t stopped recording since 2020.

“I’ve been working since [we dropped Demons R Us],” he told Revolt. “I even got songs on Oh Really I think I recorded before then. The way I work on my projects is I never stop recording. When I’m getting close to the end, I start picking songs.”
