“Neck & Wrist” is a gritty track that unites Pusha-T and Jay-Z on wax for the third time. Over production from Pharrell, the duo drop impressive coke metaphors while also reflecting on their lengthy careers and luxurious lifestyles. “Your eco-friendly jewelers, you keep recycling/ Cartier bustdowns just not my thing,” Push spits. Jay-Z also delivers a captivating performance as he responds to Faizon Love’s claim that he never sold drugs, before name-dropping Notorious B.I.G. “They like, ‘If BIG was alive, Hov wouldn’t be in his position’/ If BIG had survived, y’all would have got The Commission/ Hov was gon’ always be Hov/ It ‘twas the universe will ‘cause Allah said so, and now I’m here,” he spits. “Neck & Wrist” is the latest single from Pusha-T’s forthcoming album, IT’S ALMOST DRY.

Fivio Foreign takes a break from the Brooklyn drill sound to deliver a soul-sampled, trap record featuring Migos member Quavo. “Through the Fire” puts a twist on Chaka Khan’s 1985 single of the same name. If you remember, Khan’s track was also sampled on Kanye’s West’s “Through the Wire.” On Fivio’s track, the Brooklyn rapper delivers echoing lines about fighting demons and leaning on his religion. “Uh, all of my problems, I dance on it/ Anything I say I’ma stand on it/ Gave my life to the Lord and his hands on it,” he spits. Quavo delivers a heavily Auto-Tuned verse, spitting, “I got angel wings on me, I barely made it/ Left the Glock inside the Demon, let it ride with Satan.” “Through the Fire” is the second collaboration between the duo, appearing on Fivio’s debut album, B.I.B.L.E.

Jack Harlow is back. “First Class” is a smooth banger with Y2K appeal due to its sample of Fergie’s 2006 hit “Glamorous.” On the track, Harlow appeals to his female listeners as he reflects on his come-up, and the benefits of fame. “Why do y’all sleep on me? I need reasons/ Uh, I got plaques in thе mail, peak season/ Shout out to my UPS workers makin’ surе I receive ‘em,” he spits. On the chorus, he interpolates lines from Fergie’s song, while cutting in between the spelling of “glamorous” to share his own thoughts. “First Class” is the second track from Jack Harlow’s forthcoming album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, which is slated to drop on May 6.

On “In A Minute,” Lil Baby samples the beat of Drake and Jay-Z’s 2013 collaboration “Pound Cake.” On Lil Baby’s new version, the Atlanta rapper talks about his come-up, boasting about copping Lamborghinis and sharing the stage with pop stars. “Hope I’m not too much to handle, city nigga from Atlanta/ I spent my last check on ammo, this is not a regular Lambo,” he spits, riding the Haze and KaiGoinKrazy co-produced beat. “In A Minute” is a more bar-heavy single that was released alongside Lil Baby’s second single “Right On” this week.

“When Sparks Fly” is a smooth record that finds Vince Staples rapping over crisp production, courtesy of producer Frano. Over airy background vocals, Staples raps about a romantic relationship, speaking from the perspective of his love interest while spitting about the highs and lows of their affair. Though the character is protective of the romance in the first verse, they begin to sing a different tune as things go sour. “I’m ashamed to say I think I hate you now/ We should’ve took ‘em on a chase ‘cause I can’t save you now/ At least give me a chance to try to lay ‘em down,” Vince spits. “When Sparks Fly” is a standout from Vince Staples’ new album, Ramona Park Broke My Heart.

J. Cole delivers a lengthy verse with dizzying and braggadocious bars, rhyming about his material possessions and lifestyle. “Dreamer, Dreamer runnin’ the game in my signature trainers/ Balenciaga for joggers, I might just wear Crocs at the ‘02 arena/ Splendid, got no limits, should have a tank on my pendant,” he spits. “London” is the first collaboration between BIA and J. Cole, and marks the latest in a string of successful features from the Dreamville artist.

“Evergreen” is a smooth and emotionally-rich track that gives Omar Apollo a chance to pour his heart out over soulful production. On the track, he longs for a love that is already taken by somebody else. Nevertheless, he tearfully hopes this person will find their way to him, as he sings, “She don’t know you like me/ She could never love you more/ More than me/ But sometimes I pray that you fall In love.” “Evergreen” is an intimate and vulnerable standout from Omar Apollo’s new album Ivory

“Box & Papers” is a hard track that serves as a showcase for Coi Leray’s rap skills. On the single, Coi abandons her signature baby voice as she dishes out hard-hitting and cocky bars about her luxurious lifestyle. “Walk in bless ‘em with my presence, uh/ Baby, Merry Christmas/ Pockets so full when I limp I need crutches/ This Backwood bussin’, bitch these Russians,” she spits, before switching up her flow as she rhymes about her haters.
