Fans will have to wait a little longer for Benny the Butcher’s next studio album.

During a recent appearance on the Breakfast Club, the Buffalo-bred rapper confirmed reports that Tana Talk 4 would arrive on Feb. 11—a date that was announced by DJ Premier.

“Ima say this date anyway. I don’t know. Should I say this date?” Benny said when questioned about his next release. “November—I mean … I’m smokin’ that good shit. Uh, motherfuckin’ February? What’s the next month? I’m high as fuck. Eleventh. February 11.”

Fans were understandably pumped, as they’ve been waiting for the fourth Tana Talk installment since 2018. However, it appears Benny—and DJ Premier—got the album’s release date mixed up.

Tana Talk 4 dropping March 11, not February 11,” the Griselda rapper said during a recent Instagram Live broadcast. “I smoke too much weed—say the wrong things.”

Tana Talk 4 will mark Benny’s first project since last year’s Pyrex Picasso. The upcoming album was produced by The Alchemist and Daringer, and will include the previously released track “Johnny P’s Caddy” featuring J. Cole.

Benny has been pretty tightly-lipped about what fans can expect from Tana Talk 4, but told Charlamagne it’ll include big name features, including Cole and Diddy as well as his fellow Griselda members, Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn.

“Spitters on there,” he said about the contributors. “You know, a couple of surprises.”

Stay tuned as more details about Tana Talk 4 become available.
