After teasing out clips of the new track for a little while, Brighton rapper ArrDee has now dropped the full version of “Flowers (Say My Name)”.
As the title suggests, the track makes use of two central samples, one from Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and the other from Sweet Female Attitude’s garage anthem “Flowers”, continuing the trend of flipping iconic samples for the modern era, as previously seen on another of ArrDee’s recent hits: the T2-sampling “Wasted” with Digga D.
