While Tinder is universally known as the app used for quick and easy hook ups, it now looks like the creators want to expand their reach to the music industry. To kick off their new venture, Tinder is planning on selling producer Zedd's new album, True Colors, on the app via a mock profile of the young producer that leads the user to a link of his album if they swipe right.

The major advantage of purchasing the album on Tinder is that users can get it for $3.99, rather than the $7.99 price that it's listed as on other digital stores. This is Tinder's first attempt at selling music, though previously they experimented with the release of a Jason Derulo video, which users were lead to if they swiped right on his profile. Whether this new innovative rollout works for artists, or if it just annoys users remains to be seen, but it definitely is a sure sign of how the music industry is changing as a whole.
