Big Sean has finally secured his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Dark Sky Paradise, which has sold 139,000 copies in the first week of sales. With streams added in, Sean moved 173,000 copies, which was way more than enough to edge out Kid Rock, who came in with the No. 2 album on the charts with 146,000 units sold. This is not only Sean's first No. 1 album, but also his highest selling first week of his career and the first time that he moved over 100,000 copies in the first week of sales.
Drake continued his strong sales surge with another 100,000 units moved with streams of his If You're Reading This It's Too Late project, which kept him in the top five of the charts. Chris Brown and Tyga's Fan Of the Fan: The Album also debuted this week, and moved a total of 67,000 copies with streams included.
