Azealia Banks Throws Shade at Nicki Minaj After Promising to Never Do it Again

Azealia Banks vowed to "never say any negative or catty things" about Nicki Minaj again. But earlier today, Banks went to Twitter to mock Minaj's promo photo for the Ariana Grande featured "Bed" video.

Azealia Banks is back to shading Nicki Minaj on social media.

Thursday afternoon, Minaj went to Instagram to promote the music video for "Bed." The single, which features Ariana Grande and comes off of her upcoming album Queen, goes to a supernatural realm by imagining Minaj as a mermaid. "A beautiful 🧜🏽‍♀️ washed up on the beach while we were shooting the #BedVideo. Such a precious creature," read one post from Minaj with a clip of her laying on the sand with a fin attached to her.

She later posted a photo from the shoot and asked her fans whether or not she should drop the video today or Friday.

But while the Barbz are hype for a new video, the "Anna Wintour" singer and rapper is throwing shots at Minaj's photos. She reposted the photo of Minaj as a mermaid with her own message: "Chicken of the sea sis. Stay in your own lane. @nickiminaj lol you running out of ideas girl," read her post.

This is far from the first time Banks threw shots at Minaj. But after their most recent beef, Banks apologized to Minaj and promised to "never say any negative or catty things" about her again. Earlier this year, Minaj also showed the 27-year-old rapper some love during an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1.

“And I know Azealia Banks, she’s said some incredibly nasty things about me in the past, but she’s publicly apologized and I don’t hold grudges. When people apologize and admit, apologize they’re wrong, I move on...And also Azealia Banks’ new record is dope," she said. But it seems the good times didn't last as Banks is back to her old antics.

The "Bed" video will likely drop tonight or tomorrow when Minaj originally promised to release it. Queen is slated to be released on Aug. 10.
