Vince Staples Unveils Predictably Hilarious Snapchat Series 'F*#! That'
The Snapchat original 'F*#! That With Vince Staples' sees Staples deciding whether or not to f*ck with a particular activity by sending his friends to try it out. This week, colonics.
F*#! That With Vince Staples is the only Snapchat series that matters.
Over the weekend, Uproxx and STXdigital unveiled the inaugural episode of Vince Staples' new show via Snapchat's Discover page. The set-up, as the title makes quite clear, is simple: Staples gets his friends to engage in a show-worthy activity so he can then decide if he would personally fuck with that or not. While the first episode sees Staples rendering a verdict on the seemingly fun-filled practice of colonics, future episodes—premiering each Sunday—will tackle everything from beekeeping to so-called "rage rooms."
Staples, whose excellent Big Fish Theory album just turned one year young, will join Creed soundtrack collaborator Childish Gambino for a run of dates in October. If seeing Staples live isn't at or at least near the top of your to-do list, then I wish you all the best in attempting to tolerate such a mediocre existence. For everyone else, here are the dates in question:
- 10/02 San Jose, CA - SAP Center at San Jose
- 10/03 Inglewood, CA - The Forum
- 10/05 Glendale, AZ - Gila River Arena
- 10/09 Denver, CO - Pepsi Center
- 10/12 Nashville, TN - Bridgestone Arena
Staples' most recent new track, also known around my apartment as the first sound heard at approximately 4 a.m. every morning, was the arguably hymn-like "Get the Fuck Off My Dick." Start your day the right way by revisiting it below.
