Valee Guest Stars as Himself on ABC Comedy 'Splitting Up Together'

Valee is guest starring on the latest episode of Splitting Up Together, the ABC relationship comedy executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres.

In a tweet Monday night, Valee told fans to catch his TV debut and thanked DeGeneres for the opportunity. DeGeneres also shared a clip from the Michael Engler-directed episode, titled "Asking for a Friend." The episode sees Valee cameoing as himself. Catch it Tuesday night.

Series co-stars Jenna Fischer (The Office) and Oliver Hudson (Scream Queens) both revealed what drew them to the show, which kicked off its second season earlier this month, in an interview with Colliderback in March.

"[Creator Emily Kapnek and executive producer Dean Holland] talked to me about how very important it was to them that we capture the heartbreak and reality of the situation while, at the same time, capturing the comedy," Fischer said. "They didn't want to gloss over the real feelings associated with the complications of divorce."

The series also stars Bobby Lee, Lindsay Price, and Diane Farr. Previously, Fred Armisen guest starred on the episode "Letting Ghost."
