Early Friday, the G.O.O.D. Music signee shared his new song "Awesome." Earlier this week, Valee teased the possibility of dropping two songs, though "Awesome" is the only one out at the time of this writing. Hours before sharing the new song to streaming services, Valee let a few select fans hear it before anyone else.

Speaking with Highsnobiety over the summer, Valee credited obsession as key in his—and any artist's—success. "I read something that stuck with me," he said. "It said you never really become perfect at something until you've obsessed over it. So everyone who is successful in what they do, that means that they have really obsessed over it at one point in time. Until you really obsess over what it is you love to do, I think that really helps and helps you attack what you got to do in that field."
Before year's end, Valee is expected to release "at least" two new projects. It's still unclear whether "Awesome" is a one-off, or if it'll land on one of those previously teased fourth-quarter projects.
Back in March, Valee shared his GOOD Job, You Found Me EP featuring the Pusha-T collab "Miami." The six-track release was preceded by last year's VTM and 1988 projects.
