The De Niro-inspired aesthetic continues in The Weeknd's latest After Hours visual.
Up top, catch the video for "Until I Bleed Out," which—unlike its predecessor "In Your Eyes"—contains zero instances of decapitation.
After Hours, meanwhile, just bagged its second straight week atop the Billboard 200 albums chart. This expected throne-holding, which sees Abel preventing a leap to the top spot from 5 Seconds of Summer, follows a debut week that currently stands as the biggest of the year with 444,000 equivalent album units moved.
Shortly following After Hours' initial release, Abel hit fans with a deluxe edition complete with a Lil Uzi Vert-featuring Vapor Wave remix of "Heartless." And not long after that gift, Abel shared a trio of bonus tracks: "Nothing Compares," "Missed You," and "Final Lullaby."
Next month, we can expect even more new music. As previously reported, The Weeknd will appear as himself in a May 4-airing episode of American Dad that also boasts the premiere of a new original song. Abel also co-wrote the episode.
In the meantime, being stuck at home amid coronavirus fuckery means you likely have more chances to bag some new After Hours merch. Catch a glimpse of the most recent only-available-for-48-hours drop below.
And/or treat yourself to a rewatch of the head-losingly good "In Your Eyes" video, which is no doubt one of the strongest visuals of 2020:
