"In Your Eyes," a standout from the Weeknd's recently deluxe-ified After Hours album, is the next from the expected Billboard 200 chart topper to receive the video treatment.

The saxophone-boosted mood piece was first teased in the After Hours short film and features assists from Max Martin and Oscar Holter. Up top, catch the new video (which is tagged with a Parental Advisory warning due to graphic violence) from director Anton Tammi starring Zaina Miuccia.

The video sees a knife-wielding version of Abel's After Hours character going full slasher villain, ominous lurking and all. Also, and this most certainly qualifies as a spoiler so do not read ahead if that peeves you, the video fittingly ends with Abel's character on the receiving end of some hatchet-assisted poetic justice.

"I feel like I have sonic ADD and I can't just stick to one sound and I feel like it irritates a lot of listeners but it's just how my mind works," Abel recently toldCR Fashion Book when asked about the After Hours-preceding My Dear Melancholy and its seemingly intentional sonic shift away from the full-blown gloss found on Starboy and beyond.

In the same interview with Tiana Reid, Abel said he feels "confident" about the direction he took for After Hours, repeated listens of which make the introductory elements of Melancholy even more clear.

"There's also a very committed vision and character being portrayed and I get to explore a different side of me that my fans have never seen," he said at the time.

The deluxe edition of Abel's latest, which dropped over the weekend, features Lil Uzi Vert and Chromatics. Savor that here if you unwisely haven't already done so.
