Post Malone, who spent much of 2018 neck and neck with me in a race to perfect the art of chipped black nail polish, came through with something new late Sunday night.

The Louis Bell and Frank Dukes-produced "Wow." packs in references to everything from LaCroix to motherfucking Fall Out Boy in the first verse alone. Sadly, Patrick Stump and company do not make an actual appearance on the track. At any rate, stream it up top via YouTube and/or below via Apple Music.

Just over a month ago, Malone told fans he had all intentions of dropping a "new body of work" before year's end.

Though it's unclear whether "Wow." signals the beginning of that new body of work's era, Malone did mark the new track's release by overhauling the bulk of his social media accounts with variations of the cover art. With a single week left in 2018, could a beerbongs & bentleys followup already be imminent?

If a new project is indeed on the horizon, this means we might get whatever it is ahead of the 61st Grammy Awards in February. Malone is up for multiple categories, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
