Room 25, Noname's debut album released last month, will be getting new cover art.

In a tweeted statement early Monday, Noname addressed the arrest earlier this month of illustrator Bryant Giles, who created the original Room 25 cover. "I do not and will not support abusers, and I will always stand up for victims and believe their stories," Noname said, adding that her "heart goes out" to victims of abuse.

After her impressive performance on Chance the Rapper's 'Coloring Book,' the Chicago rapper follows her 2016 mixtape 'Telefone' with '25.'

Chicago Police Department records show that Bryant Giles was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with domestic battery - bodily harm. Complex has reached out to reps for Noname for additional comment and will update this post accordingly if/when we hear back.

The album itself, like the Telefone mixtape before it, was the result of two years of incubating and a stacked month of creative bursts. "The first time, with Telefone, I thought it was a fluke," she told the Fader last month. "But now I think that just might be the way I make art: I incubate for a long-ass time."

That approach continues to pay off. The excellent Room 25 helped Noname re-enter Billboard's Next Big Sound chart at No. 2. The reviews, as expected, have also been quite kind. A tour is scheduled to begin in January.
