Tiësto's Sevenn-featuring single "Boom" is already a club staple, likely having made frequent appearances on the soundtrack to your nights out in 2017. Now, Tiësto has dropped an updated version of the ubiquitous nighttime cut that adds some much-needed Gucci Mane to the mix.

In a statement supporting the new "Boom" mix's release, Tiësto admitted that his collabs often prove difficult due to his style. With Guwop, however, that wasn't the case. "I've always liked Gucci's flow and music, so I approached him, and he was down!" he explained. "This particular collaboration came together organically. What I've learned about teaming up with other artists is that everyone's ear is different and everyone has their unique approach to working with a track. I know my sound very well, which can make collaborations difficult because I'm not willing to compromise my style. But, when my collaborations work, they really work. This track is an example of that." Truth.

Perhaps Tiësto can parlay this collab into a musical role in Gucci Mane's recently announced biopic, which is expected to be based on last year's New York Times Best Seller The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. According to Guwop, he'll be directing the 1017 Films production himself.

Though El Gato: The Human Glacier—featuring "Rich Ass Junkies" and "Peepin' Out the Blinds," two of the strongest Gucci songs in years—is barely a month old, Gucci has already started teasing a follow-up titled The Evil Genius.
