Zeph The Spirit, the musician better known as Zeph Ellis (and Dot Rotten before that), makes another return to the fray with "Big Issues". Heavy on the base and Auto-Tune, it's a strong effort in which Zeph unleashes his thoughts and feelings, bouncing in and out of sing-song verses like the lyrical pro he's always been. A truly prolific writer and producer of music, Zeph's versatility has long been his greatest strength, with a career spanning well over a decade.
Having taken a break from the mic to focus on producing for the likes of Mist and Nines, we're glad to see Zeph in his element. Who knows, he may even revisit his grime stomping ground one day.
