2017 is set to be a massive year for London rappers Dave and J Hus. The pair released a surprise collab in "Samantha" last night—complete with visuals shot and directed by Dir LX—and on it, they "mix the gentlemen with gangsta" over a melodic production that features Dave's own twinkling keys. Taking influence from a range of diaspora sounds, J Hus fuses elements of Afrobeats and bashment within his style of street rap. Coupled with Dave's crystal clear delivery and tone, the two bounce off one another like a well-seasoned double act—could this mean a surprise joint project is on the way? We certainly hope so.
