Fivio Foreign has apologized to a videographer who didn’t get paid.
The creative in question, who goes by Peezus Niice, shared two videos he shot during the Rocking the Daisy festival in South Africa. It looks like the Brooklyn rapper played at the fest last year.
“I’ve been quiet and chasing for mooonths, after submitting work for @FivioForeign when he came to SA for @RockingTheDaisy. they booked me to cover his weekend here. I did that, they loved the videos,” Niice wrote. “Pls help me RT until they pay my rack, this I won’t let slide.”
Other tweets from the videographer showed screenshots of text messages, with him saying Fivio’s team ghosted him.
Fivio responded with an apology, writing, “Damnn Yu never got paid ?… I deff waznt aware yu never got paid.. was alot of things not being handled rite bacc in these days but things more on point now Not even sure if I used these vids but imma make sure yu get paid NP.. I Apologize.”
Peezus Niice followed up, asking how he can resend the invoice; Fivio suggested a DM.
Fivio Foreign had to cancel his set at Rolling Loud California last month due to health reasons.
“Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me,” he wrote. “I ain’t make it. My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body dealing with some real issues. Juss keep me in yah prayers.”
