Pa Salieu’s artistic footprint has grown exponentially over the past 18 months.

From last year’s lightning bolt of a mixtape, Send Them To Coventry, to last month’s Afrocentric three-track pleaser, Afrikan Rebel, it’s fair to say the Coventry-bred rapper has been extremely busy.

In a stylistic departure from the groovy, Amapiano-leaning production heard on the Afrikan Rebel EP, Pa’s new Aitch-assisted single, “Bad”, has more shared DNA with his slowthai collab, “Glidin”. On “Bad”, both Pa and Aitch erupt in slick, lyrical landmines over Two Inch Punch and WhyJay’s club-ready backdrop for the win.

For the visuals, Pa Salieu taps KC Locke to hop into the director’s chair. Featuring contrasting crimson and cool blue hues, both Pa and Aitch are captured over opposing colour schemes throughout as they party, post up in front of candy-painted whips, and flex designer tags.

The track is another round of excellence from Pa Salieu, who not only demonstrates his masses of chemistry with Aitch, but also proves that he’s far from a one-trick pony. With two projects and a handful of outstanding singles under his belt, fans are waiting in anticipation for Pa Salieu’s next move.
