SD has been one of Chicago's more underrated rappers for a couple years now, but he's been particularly unstoppable in recent months. His debut album, November's Truly Blessed, was one of the strongest full-length projects out of Chicago last year, bolstered by staggering single "Circles" that caught the attention of new fans. It's only been a handful of months, but he's back with a new mixtape: the fourth installment of his years-in-the-running Life Of A Savage series. (Here's the first volume, from 2012.) Truly Blessed explored SD's brighter, more pop-adjacent side, but this one gets back to the doom and aggression of his earlier works. And it's got some pretty stacked production credits, including Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Young Chop, and more. Stream or download the tape below.
