According to Radar Online, the 64-year-old Grammy winner was administered Narcan on June 24 after she was found unresponsive at her New York City home. Although the medication, also known as Naloxone, is typically used to counter a suspected opioid overdose, it can also revive those who experience septic shock — a life-threatening condition Madonna reportedly suffered before her hospitalization.
Insiders said Narcan was administered by those who discovered the "lifeless" Madonna; however, there is no evidence to suggest that Madonna's latest health issues were drug-related
The singer is reportedly at home recovering from a "serious bacterial infection." The future of her Celebration World Tour remains uncertain.

Madonna has been hospitalized for the last four days due to a serious bacterial infection and has paused her Celebration World Tour, according to an Instagram post from her talent manager and producer Guy Oseary.
The legendary singer was rushed to ICU after she was found unresponsive on Saturday. A source has told People the 64-year-old is out of intensive care and is expected to make a full recovery.
Oseary took to his Instagram on Monday with the news that Madonna had been in a New York City hospital since Saturday.
"On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU," he wrote. "Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected."
He continued, "At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."
According to Page Six, the "Material Girl" singer was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed once she became alert in the hospital. Madonna's last health-related issue occurred in 2020 when she had hip replacement surgery months after sustaining an injury on her Madame X tour. She was forced to cancel several shows on the North American leg of that tour due to her injury.
Madonna was getting ready to hit the road on the Celebration World Tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her career. The extensive 84-date worldwide trek was scheduled to kick off on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and was supposed to make stops in Seattle, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, New York City, London, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, and more before wrapping up in Mexico City in January 2024.
She had planned to give fans a hell of a show after promising to perform her greatest hits off her 1983 self-titled debut album through her 2019 album, Madame X, but due to her recent illness, Madonna fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see the singer as she embarks on a journey to recovery.
