There have been many variations and iterations of AI Drake these days. After the viral hit “Heart On My Sleeve” incorporated AI-generated vocals from Drake and The Weeknd, a new AI song spawned titled “Not A Game,” though this one wasn’t quite the same.

According to The Verge, “Not A Game” has been around for several years, though the AI-generated vocals were the only new parts of the track. The rap itself came from an acapella rap that was uploaded to an audio resource site called Looperman. The rap had been used in multiple SoundCloud tracks, but the vocals are only available to use for noncommercial purposes.

The song’s instrumental originally came from an artist named Cedes who listed the beat for sale on BeatStars, but the creators altered it to fit the newly generated Drake vocals.

The Verge reached out to both the acapella rapper and the producer but neither responded to the requests.

“Not A Game” hasn’t received the same fate as “Heart On My Sleeve,” however, though its takedown could happen at any moment. As of now, the track is only available on Youtube and SoundCloud. The Verge also confirmed that the aforementioned websites as well as Universal Music Group, Drake’s label, haven’t responded to their requests for comment.

“Heart on My Sleeve” was the first AI track featuring Drake vocals to go viral.
