Lu Kala graced the stage at the first annual TikTok In The Mix musical event at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, and while there she got to complete a major goal by meeting Cardi B. Lu Kala posted about it on her Instagram.
"Y’all I met @iamcardib last night & she said I was purtyyyy!!!! I’m still on a high fr," Lu Kala said in the caption, posting multiple photos and videos of the encounter.
Cardi returned the favour, adding the Canadian singer to her IG slideshow of the event. "West coast it’s been real …..Thank you TikTok for having me …Thank you to my team and thank you to my fans …y’all owe me nothing," Cardi said.
The Congolese-Canadian singer was one of the selected featured new artists that performed at the first-ever live global musical event presented by TikTok.
Lu Kala performed alongside Isabel LaRosa, Kaliii, and Sam Barber. They're all part of TikTok's Elevate Program that highlights today’s emerging new artists on the app.
Cardi B was one of the headliners for the show, credited as one of TikToks biggest-defining genre artists and musical acts today. She has also recently revealed her separation with her husband Offset, claiming that she has been "single for a minute now."
