If you were dreaming up a list of the most likely artists to collaborate with Partynextdoor, Jadakiss probably wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the list. But that's exactly what we got on "Cartier," the latest PND song to drop in a recent run of music he kicked off last week.
It's a collaboration that really works, surprisingly. Partynextdoor is at his best on "Cartier," using a laid-back flow to coast into Jada's verse in the middle of the song. And though you might expect Jadakiss to come through and kick in the door, he dials back the intensity just enough to sound at home next to the R&B crooner.
"Cartier" is just one of a small package of songs unleashed by Partynextdoor since late August. Alongside solo jams like "Damn,""Break Me Down," and "Naked," PND also dropped a team effort with Ty Dolla Sign, "Put It on Silent," early last week. The rapid releases suggest a project is on the horizon, though he dampened expectations on that front when speculation hit its peak last Sunday.
Lol this is not the album roll out, music will be on Apple Music and Spotify.
