While UZ still remains the mysterious trap enigma, he's undeniably one of, if not the artist that helped push the trap scene into the mainstream; before Baauer was talking to Billboard, UZ was talking to NPR. Details on his history are sketchy, and he keeps that mask on in the studio and while on tour. In November of 2012, he did work on tracks with a number of MCs, including Trinidad Jame$, Casey Veggies, Problem, and others, and these tracks make up his new project, BallTrap Muzic Vol. 1, which is set to be released later today. Word is that a number of trap heavyhitters are featured on this as well, from Clicks & Whistles and Baauer to CRNKN and Salva. Should be a pretty dope project, and in the above video, many of the players involved (as well as UZ himself) speak on his music, and the tape.
