So you're a fan of electronic music that's in Austin for SXSW 2014, thinking that it's nothing but rock and tech events, right? Straight up, you're wrong. There's a wealth of dance music showcases running throughout the SXSW festival. As the festival grows bigger, it coincides with the growth of the electronic music scene, which means that more entities will be a) in Austin and b) putting on dope showcases. Here's where DAD comes in. Not only are we helping present one fire week of events with Peligrosa, but we know there are a bunch of different showcases and parties going down for the heads who rock with our site. We wanted to make sure the androids in Austin were getting their time in, and decided to give you a glance at the finest electronic music showcases going down in Austin this year for SXSW. This isn't a complete look - DJs are booked at so many events, and even the unofficial parties have stacked line-ups, but this is a great guide for you, the electronic music lover, to get an idea of what's going on down there.
