Travi$ Scott's rowdy Rodeo Tour is currently creating mosh pits all over the United States, and the rapper sat down with MTV to talk about it. The most notable topic of conversation during the interview is clarification on Travi$'s comments about the crowd behaving like they were at a "motherfucking J. Cole or a Chance The Rapper type concert" during a stop in Chicago. He told MTV he didn't feel that he was disrespecting them, but he was pointing out how lethargic the audience was. "It’s not that I dislike J. Cole or Chance—I know both of them. I wasn’t speaking about it in a negative way," he said. "We don’t sit there. We don’t preach to our kids. It’s all about the raging and the vibe and expression.”

He explained that the inspiration of the tour comes from the rodeo in his hometown of Houston compared his fans to violent and unpredictable animals. He added that he "just wanted to bring the kids alive and turn them fuckers into animals and create a real live circus with the kids like a playground." Travi$ also talked about his upcoming debut album Rodeo, his last minute contribution to Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late and a possible joint album with Rodeo Tour co-headliner Young Thug
