Post Malone has offered another taste of his fifth studio album, Austin.

Two weeks ahead of the project’s release, Posty gifted fans with his “Overdrive” single. The Grammy-nominated artist previewed the track via Twitter on Wednesday when he provided an inside look at the album’s recording process.

“There’s a lot of songs that are fuckin’ super fuckin’ touching, and you can really explain your journey, but I also want it to be fun,” he said about the project. “I wanna fuckin’ drop this fuckin’ bomb that’s like, there’s so much music and there’s so much different styles and so much shit, it’s like, ‘This is amazeballs.’”

“Overdrive” serves as Austin’s third single, following “Chemical” and “Mourning.” The album will arrive just over a year after Post shared his Twelve Carat Toothache album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. He spoke about his next release in a May 15 Instagram reel.

“I wanted to say that I love you guys so very fucking much,” he said. “I’m here on tour in Europe right now, and I wanted to tell you guys that I have an album coming out this summer on July 28. It’s called Austin, like my name—that is my name.”

He continued, “It’s been some of the funnest music, some of the most challenging and rewarding music for me, at least. You know, I’m trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff. I played guitar on every song on the record, and it was a really, really fun experience, and I’m super, super excited to share it with you.”

The song comes just days after Posty kicked off his If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour. The international trek will include stops in Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Mexico City, Hong Kong, and Sydney.
