News of Lil Wayne's potential retirement is hitting the hip-hop industry hard and now Kendrick Lamar has revealed his own true feelings about the possibility of Weezy leaving the game.

"Talk about retiring and shit. Fuck that n**a. Retire, qutting rap, whatever you want to call it, n**ga," Kendrick shouted into the camera, venting his true feelings while in the studio at 5:32 a.m.

Rumors of Weezy's retirement began earlier this month when the rapper took to Twitter to tell his fans that he was feeling defeated and even hinted that he was going to retire.

Lil Wayne's public feud with Birdman and Cash Money Records has dramatically impacted his career and ability to put out music. The issues originally stem from Wayne's frustrations over money reportedly owed to him and the label not releasing his long-awaited album, Carter V.

In wake of the news, everyone from Missy Elliott, to Chance the Rapper, Lupe Fiasco, and more have shared their reactions of Wayne's possible retirement on Twitter, alluding to what a loss it would be to the music community. Drake, who was mentored and signed by Lil Wayne, brought him out on stage with him during the Houston stop of the Summer Sixteen tour to show his support for Weezy and everything he is going through. "We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don't know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor," Drake wrote on Instagram later that night.
